Barbados' largest game fishing tournament returns to the island in 2025; the Sir Charles Williams International Tournament. Named after Sir Charles Othneil Williams, an avid sports fisherman himself, the tournament takes place from the 8th to the 12th of April.
This event attracts anglers from across the region and internationally, and this year is particularly special as the Ebony Anglers, a black, female team hailing from North Carolina, will join the fray.
Kicking off with a Bimini Start from the Port St. Charles marina in St. Peter, anglers will take part in three days of fishing, hunting for popular sport-fishing species such as Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sail Fish, Spear Fish, Dolphinfish, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, and Barracuda.
With 23 teams and 91 anglers registered to date, this tournament is already set to be a great one! Below is the tournament schedule.
