The 2025 Republic Bank Sir Charles Williams International Fishing Tournament was certainly one for the books. With 32 registered boats from Barbados, Trinidad, Grenada, Saint Vincent, Saint Lucia, Martinique, and North Carolina, USA, it was one of the Association's biggest tournaments in 35 years.

The prize giving ceremony was attended by the Hon. Adrian R. Forde, M.P., Minister of Environment and National Beautification, Green and Blue Economy who has the responsibility for fisheries, and the Hon. Colin E. Jordan, M.P., Minister of Labour, Social Security and Third Sector, the M.P. of St. Peter, where the tournament was based; both of whom helped in the presentation of prizes.

Of the meat fish prizes, the Ebony Anglers, aboard the boat Wicked Wahoo, did the vessel's name justice as the team landed the heaviest Wahoo of the tournament at a whopping 40 lbs! Lesleigh Mausi, with the support of her team, was able to reel in this fish for the well-deserved 1st prize. The largest Wahoo of Day 3, at 18 lbs, was caught by Never Enough, and the heaviest dolphin of the tournament was landed by Legacy at 22.7 lbs.
