The inaugural Caribbean Aquaproducers Conference will be a groundbreaking event focused on sustainable aquaculture (including mariculture and aquaponics), economic development, and the empowerment of women and youth in the Caribbean’s blue economy.

This two-day summit will be held on 19-20 August 2026 at the Savannah Hotel, Barbados, will bring together Caribbean and International investors, scientists, farmers, policymakers, and students to drive innovation, forge strategic partnerships, and position aquaculture as a key contributor to the region’s food security and climate resilience.  

Dynamic speakers will be presenting at the conference including Ms. Kristina Adams, President of the Caribbean Aquaproducers Association, Jervis Rowe from Central Greenhouse Supplies and Services and Karina Olivieri from ISER Caribe. Dr. Shelly-Ann Cox, Chief Fisheries Officer from the Barbados Fisheries Division will also be presenting.
