The month of June will see a hive of activity at landing sites across the island of Barbados as the Barbados National Union of Fisherfolk Organisations (BARNUFO) celebrates the fishing industry while promoting messages of sustainable fisheries in an innovative and inclusive way through the 2025 Barbados Fisherfolk Festival (BARFISH).
The festival is set to immerse visitors in the sustainable living Small Island experience through the arts such as film, poetry, music, and dance, fashion, and the culinary arts.
BARFISH is a flagship initiative of the Barbados National Union of Fisherfolk Organisations and is being held in collaboration with the Fisheries and Fish Markets Divisions.
